MINISTRIES
We we believe that ministry defines the essence of who we are. That's why we place a heavy emphasis on our ministires. We believe that we exist not for ourselves, but as an extension of God; we are now the physical presence of Jesus Christ in the world.
We define ourselves faithful service to the needs of humanity. Educating, equipping, and empowering are the three ministry imperatives that drive all of our activity. It is our prayer that every member of New Hope is a working member.
Marriage Preparation
Wesley United Methodist Church is honored to host the Service of Christian Marriage, conducted by one of our pastors. We love weddings – but even more, we celebrate the gift of marriage and take our role in strengthening relationships and commitments seriously.

United Methodist Women of Faith
Zion's UMWF shares birthday and anniversary celebrations with a card. The UMWF meets on the first Thursday of each month. If you would like to join us in this ministry, please contact Deanne Tamms.
Food Pantry
We supports the Food Pantry. The Burlington-Hampshire Area Food Pantry is a non-profit and charitable organization providing relief for those in need. As a “faith based” pantry, assistance is available to anyone, without regard to age, race, gender, creed, or health, in need of food. Contact Dorothy at 847-683-3071 OR dpadd2@sbcglobal.net

Pie Day Ministry
We care for shut-ins, seniors and others in need by delivering pie the third Saturday of each month. A friendly face and short visit as well as delicious, home-made pie can brighten anyone's day! ​ If you would like to join us in this ministry, please contact Marie Maynard.
